Far Far Away
The body of an Iranian combatant (Mohammadali Hasanjani) who died during the Iran-Iraq war (22 September 1980 – 20 August 1988) was identified and returned back home to his family after 27 years. Sangar, Gilan – Iran. March 3th 2015.
The Iran-Iraq war with more than half a million martyrs [1] and 60,711 missing in action casualties (according to Iranian claims) is 20th century's longest conventional war. [2]
Fatemeh, mother of the martyr, whom is still a victim of the war many years after and kilometers away.
